For a second year design project, students were advised to chose a illness or problem and make an infographic that uses worldwide statistics. Inspired by Keith Haring at the time, I decided to do mine on HIV/AIDS because he was a huge advocate. All components are simple and clear. Bold colours, large numbers and prominent illustrations allow for a structured and impactful design. Great attention to small details and the relevance of image and text communicates factual information clearly.
Process Glimpse
This was one of the first drafts when completing my Infographic. With more revision, I felt that the composition was flat and did not enhance the boldness of the red that was used to in order to communicate AIDS awareness. It lacked dynamism and was cluttered.
